The Lens

Click here to read an analysis of the Canon 50 mm f/1.8 II lens. Inexpensive (goes with the whole theme of the experiment), good optical quality, mediocre build quality. It's a little longer than I would like for this experiment, but I already own it. Plus, should the rig be destroyed/lost, $90 to replace the lens isn't too big of a deal. L glass on the other hand...ouch.
